Next year’s Ullapool Book Festival will be held from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 May. The programme will be announced in March when tickets will go on sale. Weekend tickets covering all fourteen events will cost £85 and individual sessions will be £7 each.
But for those who trust UBF to produce a great programme, and who are happy to buy without knowing who the writers are, they are running a special offer until 31 December 2011. A weekend ticket can be bought for only £75. The offer will stop on the last day of the year and no more weekend tickets will be sold until they go on sale in March at the full price of £85.

Ullapool Book Festival committee members are very excited about next year’s programme but they’re not giving anything away yet. Ullapool Book Festival chair Joan Michael said “This is the third year we have sold early bird tickets and we have been delighted with the uptake in the past. We’ll be revealing author names mid January – well after the early bird offer date has passed. But I can say that for our eighth festival we’ve once again attracted a wonderful group of writers and poets.”
