Bookfestival Scotland is a partnership funded by Creative Scotland and Scottish Borders Council. The initial idea was to identify all of Scotland’s book festivals, and bring them together into an organisation which could promote all of them collectively and enable each festival to benefit from joint promotion. All partners are independent in every way and part of the attraction of the group is its wide diversity, not only in creative focus, but location, atmosphere and style.
